TORONTO CREW HOSTS 5TH ANNUAL REAL JOBS FOR
YOUNG WOMEN INTERESTED IN REAL ESTATE CAREERS
Toronto Commercial Real Estate Women (Toronto CREW) would like to invite your Grade 11 and 12 girls to participate in the 5th Annual REAL Jobs Day event. This day long workshop explores the career possibilities in commercial real estate and will be held on April 21, 2010 at the Ted Rogers School of Management at Ryerson University. The workshop provides a unique forum for students to interact, attend information sessions, participate in hands-on learning experiences, and pose their own questions to some of the top senior professional women in commercial real estate.
Key benefits that the students will take home include: an opportunity to learn about the diverse careers in commercial real estate, an opportunity to establish network connections for summer employment and internships, and to gain inspiration from successful women by learning their individual career paths. Previous schools who attended this event include: George S. Henry Academy, C.W. Jefferys, Victoria Park Collegiate, Woburn Collegiate, and Earl Haig Secondary School.
Please find attached a flyer for distribution to classrooms and students and a sample agenda of the event. Participating schools will be responsible for providing transportation to and from the event as well as student supervision. Programming and all refreshments will be provided by Toronto CREW.
The deadline for registration is February 26, 2010.
A member of the REAL Jobs Day committee will be in contact shortly or please feel free to contact Samantha Farrell, the 2009 REAL Jobs Chair at shfarrell@oxfordproperties.com.
